| Oh my gosh ... so much like real life. Women catch a cold or flu, we still make dinner, make lunches, drive kids to school, sympathize with our husbands over how undervalued they are at work, etc etc and are better in 2-3 days ... Men catch a cold or flu, they lay in bed moaning, swearing they are going to die, can't be arsed to get the tissues into the actual trash bin (the poor dears are barely capable of dropping them all over the floor), ask for back rubs and scalp scritches while drinking hot cocoa and watching stupid, violent, nasty and plot-free films.
*sigh* They are lucky most of us don't know how to brew undetectable poisons.

| 'Fact' number eight had me giggle like a mad person XD Oh, men and their insistance on returning to the toddler years just because they get a fever and a case of the sniffles.. Author's Response: Yes, and every woman knows it! Whenever I apply for leave with the reason 'to care for sick partner', my female boss never questions it, just gives me a look of knowing sympathy :o) | |||
