As someone who has had a bit of experience with the lifestyle, I truly think of Severus as a true submissive. He's very hot as a Dom, and has the look and the presence, but personality-wise, I think this dynamic between these two people is the one that feels the most natural to me. | As incredibly steamingly hot as this was, Severus had been dominated between two masters for so long, it's tough for me to believe Severus would be comfortable in a submissive role.
I'd dearly (maybe even beg!) love to see you write one with him in the Dominant role. I've only read one other of this type (called 'For the Potion Master's Amusement') and it set the bar. Author's Response: Thanks so much! FTPMA was the very first fanfic I ever read, because my BF (a sub like me) really loved it, and so did I. It got me interested in SS/HG fic in the first place. But to tell the absolute truth, having almost 20 years' experience in the lifestyle, I see Severus as the perfect submissive. It is quite a difference between being used by those who enslave you to their own agenda, and submitting to a Dominant whose first priority is the welfare and advancement of Their submissive. I really think he would be a beautiful submissive. Living the lifestyle, I think he would thrive and blossom under a loving, supportive Dominant. Having said that, in play (as he and Hermione did for his birthday), I think he is blinding. Be careful what you beg for ;) you just may get it!!! ;) Thank you again for your thoughtful and supportive feedback. | |||
