| I'm sure what you have planned will be interesting. When a story really grabs me and I feel like I'm in the story, I can't help but want to vent for the character I feel the most for at the time. In no way do I want to influence or tell you what to write. So with that in mind, I'm just saying as friends they should have been honest and got Hermione on board with their plan to save the Wizarding World. My reaction to such disregard for my feelings and obvious betrayal by lying would be to give them the finger and leave until I received an apology and full disclosure. I understand why the argument with Harry escalated as all arguments do when someone hurts you a person tends to hurt back. However, Harry hurt her first by not telling her that Lucius was coming and if he had prior positive contact with Lucius he must have been keeping that from her as well since she was so vocal against Lucius. If she had known Harry was more trusting of Lucius and his reason for such I don't think she would have been so vocally rude to Lucius. So has Harry learned to be like Dumbledore with the lies and manipulation of people for the greater good? These are just my thoughts and I'm sure you will reveal the answers as the story progresses. The outcome of the story won't change. SInce the story was written for the 2010 LJ SSHG_exchange is is already complete in 12 chapters. So it is what it is. Interesting that you should compare Harry to Dumbles, my original beta made pretty much the same comment in the early stages of the story about either Harry or Kingsley, or perhaps both of them. (I can't remember for sure right now. LOL) Hope you continue to enjoy the story and Happy Holidays to you also. | |||

| I agree with winter; the first thing Hermione should do is move out of "Harry's home" - and here she thought it was her home too. She has every right to be furious with all three men. Author's Response: Awww... I love your righteous indignation on Hermione's behalf. It seems bad now but more revelations to come soon. :) | |||

| Wow, great story idea and great writing. I think Hermione has a right to be angry. It is very unfair for Harry to spring Lucius on her as a guest. As her friend he should know how she feels about him and discussed it with her first. I personal would have been walking out the door and would send for my stuff later after what he said about it being "his" house. Although legally true, she is living there permanently as his "sis" as he called her. Kingsley, although he's her boss, should have also discussed reassigning her projects. Both wizards are being very high-handed. If I were Hermione, I think I would go on vacation without letting them know. Canada, maybe? Can't wait to see where you take this story. While I agree that Harry shouldn't have said what he did about it being "his" home, he was hurt at her accusation that he would in any way endanger his son. Through circumstances not yet revealed Harry has had a chance to get to know Lucius, and while they aren't 'friends', he does believe he can trust him. And as for Kingsley, he is so desperate to repair the wizarding world he ready try anything. | |||

| Wow, I can imagine quite a lot of make-up sex in Hermione and Lucius's future. Great storyline for Snape. Does Draco prefer to be called secretary or assistant? Does the wizarding world celebrate secretary day?

As far as Draco, I think he prefers the title Chief of Staff, like the American President's assistant, as he's in charge of everything for the Minister. | This is very curious and also very well written. I find myself really needing to know what happens next. I got to the end and felt like the rug had been pulled out from under me when there was no more because I had been so caught up in it. Please, please tell me that you are a habitual updater. And never fear, as stated in the author's note, this story as written for the sshg_exchange thus it is already written and complete in twelve chapters.
