| I decided to do one review for the whole thing so...I love your story! The dynamic between Severus and Hermione are great and true to character, IMO. And I love Poppy and her no nonsense way of telling Sev to grow up! That was wonderful. Looking forward to the rest of the story! | This is lovely! I know you are clearly not getting all the reviews you deserve, so I hope you will count mine as about a thousand or so. I am so excited to see where this goes...is it complete? Short or long? Also, I loved "I didn't hate it"....how truly Severus Snape. Author's Response: Thank you so much for your encouraging words. They mean a lot to a first time fanfic author, I can tell you! This is a relatively short story and complete (6 chapters plus Epilogue), and I'm uploading them now - just trying to make sure all my tenses are in the right place. | thanks for updating so fast, you're going to spoil us. at first i thought i had read this story before but it must just share a similar beginning. looked at the art as well and i can guess where the story is going but everyone's interpretation is different so looking forward to you're take on things; you seem to have a unique style, just from little parts i've read here that i've not seen before :D oh and is it complete or wip? Author's Response: The problem with fanfic is that it's very hard to come up with an original storyline. I've read some fantastic stories on this site, and admittedly while mine is the not the most original of plots I hope that it is a decent character study. It is complete and I'm uploading it as I work through it, checking for mistakes. I'm really glad you are enjoying reading it. | |||

| was a bit shocked to see this story updated so fast, but very glad :) spose ill review properly on ch3 (just trying to bump up your numbers for your first fic lol) Author's Response: Well, the story is finished, so I just want to get it up and running. | Wow, I usually don't like "first person" perspectives (especially from Severus' because I don't find it convincing) but you did a wonderful job. I , too, pictured him ready to die at the end of the battle. I don't like to admit it because I would much rather have seen him live and become a hero, but his character really screamed "I stopped living the night Lily died". I look forward to reading more. But I really do believe he would have felt that way. As you said, no matter which side won, he had no place or reason for being.
