Snape's explanation of why he was constantly fighting with Hermione reminded me of the cliché "You're beautiful when you're mad." It seemed more trite than I was hoping for, but his admitting that he was basically raised by wolves helped to make up for it.

| She's right, you know. He HAS been abusing her personally and undercutting her professionally, and it really IS a bad idea to form a romantic relationship with someone who does that, no matter how well he kisses.
I'm interested to see how you're going to fix the situation. :-)
