So Severus is beginning to see just how much of an anarchist Hermione can be. Love the repartee between the two.
Author's Response: Yep, she's not the goody-goody he remembers, is she? |

I'm so glad that Azkaban has softened any of Severus's wit. I do love both your lead characters; they're right on the mark. And the thought of Apparating from a toilet is really one for the books.
Author's Response: Better than Apparating into that location. Imagine what a rude shock that could be. |

Snape is probably envious that her equipment makes it easier. I enjoyed the switch to Hermione's perspective. They work well together.
Author's Response: I think Snape is envious of a lot of things. |

So excited to see an update today! Whoot! I love their dialogue, the give and take interactions here, and Snape, for once, proving to be more flexible than she'd imagined.
Author's Response: Mmm, flexible Snape. *mind wanders off down an inappropriate trail |

I am as intrigued by Hermione's falling out with Harry as Snape seemed to be--the tension and crackling emotion at the table during that discussion were palpable.
Author's Response: It seemed to me when I read DH that some degree of disillusionment was inevitable in the aftermath of the war. The trio couldn't stay idealistic forever, and it's interesting to speculate about who falls from grace first. |

I felt dreadful for Snape, seeing the object of his fantasies realized in that room, yet still unobtainable. Very well done.
Author's Response: I feel bad for him, too, and plan to reward him eventually. Or at least parts of him. |

I like your Hermione--it doesn't take the year to tell me how old she is; the pattern of her speech is enough. And I laughed out loud over the exchange about the toilet at the end.
Author's Response: Thanks! I did enjoy the image of her dragging him into the loo. |

A very interesting beginning--steeped in detail and texture. I can't wait to read on!
Author's Response: Thank you! It's nice to be writing again. |
