Ps. I knew a Mana song called "Hechicera", but not until today did I look up what it meant because of your name ;-).
Author's Response: This made me go download the song, which I'd never heard of. |

I love how she keeps stumbling upon more and more items for a nonexistent childhood (of course it is sad, but, oh, it's too amusing ;-) ). Frivolities like Paper-Scissors-Stone, haha :).
Of course, his unprofessionalism was hilarious and I SO held my breath when I was afraid that he would get caught. And it's pretty crazy that the magical wards don't detect him, either. (Is he going to tell her, I wonder? It's still Snape, after all) Naughty. Nice :).
Author's Response: Naughty. Nice. That about covers it! |

Interesting point, Jong_Kahn! I agree that all of his scientific thought processes went out the window (french door, in this case!), but his observations wouldn't have been useful. Remember, he can still see himself as normal, and he would see his own ejaculate as it left his body. It would have to be Hermione observing that in order to get proper data on that! And so far, he doesn't seem inclined to let that happen, does he? ;-)
Author's Response: Exactly. |

Author's Response: Well, only a year's hiatus...but it's definitely back on track. |

What an intriguing chapter. However, Snape appears to have gotten so caught up in his erotic sensations that he quit acting as a scientist. In other words, he was not objectively observing whether or not his ejaculate was visible as it left his body. Nor did you give us any clues. Ah well, now that he's come, perhaps he'll remember! One thing you might consider changing, is the wizarding adage you have him quoting: "...in for a Sickle, in for a Galleon,” Since the original muggle English saying is: "In for a penny, in for a pound," it goes from the smallest (penny) to the largest (pound). So should it not be "In for a Knut, in for a Galleon"? An excellent chapter! Thanks for all your hard work!
Author's Response: That would make sense IF all that writers and the language cared about was literal parallelism. But there's a reason that phrases like "in for a penny, in for a pound" persist in the language: besides expressing a concept, there is a pleasing rhythm and alliteration about it. The alliteration can't be reproduced, but the rhythm can be approximated, and so "in for a Sickle, in for a Galleon," rolls off the tongue much more naturally, and that makes it sounds/i> more like the original while still getting the concept across.
