it is very moving. I like it is quite slow, the interactions between Snape and his wife is very moving.

Author's Response: Thanks so much.

What a touching beginning to what seems to be a lovely, yet emotional story. I have had some of this reality resently .@ 37 I have just finished months of radiation. Your soul, and feeling you put into your fics assures me this will be an honest rendering, and very moving. I look forward to reading it. Even if it may be a challenge for me to read. Thank you-Elou

Author's Response: I wish you luck on your journey Elou. Sadly, to give you fair warning, Lucy's story doesn't have a positive outcome (I hope you gathered that already?) I don't have personal experience of having cancer, thank goodness, but my mother had it, and many other women in my family, at a time when treatments were not so advanced. Thus, this story came about. I hope you keep reading and take some enjoyment from it.

Hi, heart rending and handled with the loving care and attention I have come to expect from you babe. I trust that the tissues will be needed for joy in the future as well as sorrow now. Shuldham.

Author's Response: Absolutely tears of joy - I always give them a happy ending, but you know, it's a roller coaster to get them there!

this is going to be amazing, i can already tell. if you use all the skill you put into Hilltop Cottage into this story as well, then without a doubt we all will be hung-up on this story until the very last word. cannot wait til its all up.

Author's Response: Blimey - please don't set me up for a fall... I wrote this story years ago, well before Hilltop Cottage. There is a distince difference in my writing now... I hope it's improved!! Let me know what you think, anyway x

So sad, but well-written. Looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Thank you very much. I wrote it years ago, so it's nice to know my writing wasn't horrendous back then!

Very intriguing! How did Severus come to marry this woman? Where did they meet? Has he been living without magic the entire time? I can't wait to see how you proceed! Great job!

Author's Response: As always, the answers will come as the story progresses. Thank you so much for reading xx
