You're back! *hugs you* You're an amazing fanfic writer, did you know that? I love your Snape as much as I love Protowilson's (http://protowilson.deviantart.com/) This fic was a nice B-day present to Sev. Very nice indeed. I like how he decided to give life a secon chance. :) He deserves it! And LOL No Weasleys! Thank Merlin for small favors... This was 'totally awesome'! Faved ;-)

Oh, this was wonderful! I think it does beg (or at least I do) for one more chapter at least. The dialogue was really well done and I love this Hermione and this Snape. The moment he asks her to let down her hair was perfect. Good, good stuff.

I loved everything in here, especially Snape, but I do think it should have extended. If not covering their evening, I would have liked to see Ron at her flat when they returned

I'm always torn when I read an exquisite one-shot, which is what this is -- the tone hovers perfectly between world-weary and affectionate. But about being torn: On the one hand it's lovely as a single snapshot in time, and it could definitely stay right there. But when a writer creates a view of the characters that's as nuanced and engaging as this one is, I can't help wishing for more. Some help I am! Loved it, thanks for sharing.

I absolutely loved this. I loved it that Hermione was reading Dorothy Sayers, I loved the snark and the interchange between the two of them. Like the other reviewers, I wish to register my hopes that a sequel will find its way out of your keyboard soon:) Brava!

So adult - in the best sense. A hard-headed (but soft-hearted) pair. And I bet HG reads feminist lit all the time.
