Very cute. We all have the childhood memories of an Auntie like this. Wish I could of hit mine in the face with a sweet. |

Cute, cute, cute! Interesting that Aunt Pegeen (gah! what a name!--she should talk!) interesting that she didn't complain or comment much after Mairin's little exhibition! Great little ficlet--thank you! (Rummages in her purse and pulls out a "10", smiles and gives it to you.)
Author's Response: I'd like to think that Pegeen (yes, a truly horrid name) had a chance to reflect later on that day and wonder! Thanks so much for the '10'. Much appreciated! |

why didnt auntie peg say anything about what happend and about the obvious use of magic that was going on in front of her??
Author's Response: I suspect that Auntie Peg was probably a bit appalled by what she saw as Mairin's outburst, and failed to see the obvious! |

Adorable. I liked the shift to Snape's point of view. I also love your version of Hermione's parents-- Lawrence and Julia are wonderfully real and awkward. You've done a great job of creating them from JK Rowling's vague sketch.
Author's Response: Thanks! I appreciate your kind words. |
