Glad they stayed together, and their mutual forgiveness was, aie, so right. Pure love and real people.. and booze and a smoky pub with kind locals. I hope Sev and Hermy's unfurling love spread out to many happy homes that evening... Hermy, a nod, of course, to Caeria's Pet Project - a classic, and complete after decades - Brava!
Really enjoyed the greeting card in the closet for the intolerant W. Black and Molly's cleaning and put-downs of Severus. For who taught Ron to be so dismissive of his teacher, that spied and suffered and lived painfully with no recognition? Name-calling is beginning- of-bullying. Severus felt enough of that.
This was quite a contrast to Ms_Figg' s very, very endowed Severus in ''Why Just Watch?'' steaming. A Snape for every taste.
As a thank you for this joyful fic may I recommend: 'The Owl Chronicles' in two chapters by white mouse on ffnet?
... Severus, Minerva, Sybill and Lockhart take
third year students on a field trip to London. Of course, complete anarchy.... In letters to Albus = Owls.

| Never been able to drink myself into giggling fun...just throwing up and prolonged dry heaves...always wished for a short interval of camaraderie...and singing...you didn't have singing...I love singing. | So many favorite lines! But the one I'm left with after reading the whole thing was when Severus mentioned stealing candles from graveyards when he was young. That came out of nowhere & made me laugh so hard! |
