| Merry Christmas, Neelix! It was nice to pop in before calling it a night and seeing the gift of a couple of chapters. Very good chapters, by the way. It was nice to see Severus' vulnerability peeking out a bit from under all his usual emotional armor. It is the one area of his life he does not have absolute mastery over. Loved seeing Hermione's "rush of affection" about it. Have a Happy New Year! Author's Response: I think she feels compassion deeply, and she's not as daft as he is about making assumptions.
