Interesting and unfair leaving us wondering what the emotional change is! Maybe her spending time away from him will help things between them (after making them worse as he'll see her as potentially leaving for good)... Looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: I just think things have shifted. Her life is moving in one direction - his isn't.

Oh no. I love that Severus is who he is now and just wants to be in the background and happy. I hate that feeling that Hermione had, but can see things will change with her research and maybe being away for months doing work. I don't see that working well for Severus. He is so wonderful in this story. I am glad he did go see her win the award.

Author's Response: He was a bit of a plank, not going with her, but I do understand his POV.

What shifted? That he didn't want to go and made her go by herself or that he came in the end. I would be hurt that he didn't want to sit next to me during one of the most important nights, he would rather watch me from afar. Thanks for the update. I really like this story.

Author's Response: Something has shifted, definately - life isn't as simple now.

So he took the coward's way and hid in the back. How disappointing. It's too bad that she's so alone at work, and distant from everyone. You'd think she'd know so me of the Ministry people even a little? I mean, I work for a large hosptial and clinic and I know many people, and like Hermione, I don't wander much. I stay in my work area. Its jsut so OOC for her to be so distant from people, especially now that she's re-entered the workforce and re-established herself in her job. That's so odd. . . . I did like Harry's reacion though. Maybe he'll try and come around and accept her choice.

Author's Response: I think Hermione changed during the war... so yes, she is OOC!

Man, I'd be so disappointed in my boyfriend if he wouldn't come to see me get such a pretegious award! I have a feeling he's so not into this relationship as much as she is.

Author's Response: He is, he's just... male!

The Proctor Prewitt library is in America, then ? I don't trust that Alicia; she was too eager to win. She's probably 'befriending' Hermione so that she can steal her ideas.

Author's Response: aha... I see you are related to Sybil Trewlaney....

Good he listened to you, well done. But what could be amiss Madam, why is she upset? I bet you'll tell us soon, please

Author's Response: I think the apple cart is about to be upset... hold on...
