Cute and satisfying! I'm sure we're all glad we don't have to eat a slice of this too often!
Author's Response: Me too!! |

This was cute.
I think you want Quidditch Cup, instead of House Cup, though. The House Cup is for the most points and awarded at the end of term feast.
Author's Response: you're right. thanks. i'll fix it stat. |

I wonder how many readers know that 'umble pie was real dish from medieval England? Basically it was all the crud left over after the slaughter (stomach, liver, kideneys, sweetbreads etc.) chopped up and cooked under a pie crust. This tasty treat was the Christmas Lunch for the lowest servants in the house, who were very grateful (and therefore humble) for this tasty (?) treat. I would have thought being given a slice of that Severus would have agreed to say anything rather than be made to have another slice!
Author's Response: i did actually google this to see if it indeed *could* be something eaten. and honestly, it can't be any worse than the scrapple i grew up on.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrapple :) thanks for the review hon! |
