I'll just be off in a corner fanning myself. Wonderful story. Thank you, now if you can just arrange for the same treat on my birthday ...

I'm FLOORED. Bambu, there are so many things I want to say and don't know where to start. Okay, first off - I didn't realize you were the author of this piece of perfection until I hit "review" and saw your name, and I should have figured it was you!! Only you can capture so many senses and details in such a poetic way. And the details! The smells and sounds of the beach, the food, the fact she arranged her home like the Restricted Section, her work, their erudite yet warm dialogue..............I'll stop gushing now :) And the lovemaking? Perfection, my dear, perfection.
Author's Response: Wow! Maria, what a remarkable review. I'm blushing like mad, and basking a little in the glow of your compliments. Thank you seems like such a small thing to say in return, but I do ... thank you! |

*grumbles* Hermione is such a jammy cow. A Severus for her birthday!
Absolutely delightful :-)
Author's Response: ::laughs:: Thanks. She might be a jammy cow, but at least we get to enjoy her birthday vicariously. |

A tremendously lovely birthday, that was! I must say, her cottage and garden makes me wild with jealousy. You've done a great job making this meld with canon--and yes, in real life, he DID survive that snake bite. No evidence to the contrary.
Author's Response: I couldn't agree with you more. He absolutely survived the snake bite. And I'm delighted you liked the location and setting! Thank you, my friend, thank you. |
