Reviews for Three Acts

jenonymous2006.07.30 - 11:38PM1: the scene is setSigned
I agree with the other reviewers: moody, interesting. In places, your attachment of one speaker's action to another's speech makes it difficult to tell who is saying what. An example is,
“I think not.” “…oh?” What then? But he was silent. Contemplative. “I apologize.” He spoke through the silence. His hand was near his face, touched his cheek bone with the pad of one finger. She stared at him. “What?” He turned to look at her, all wide eyes and quandary. His eyes narrowed. “Have you forgotten then?” “Forgotten…”
Unfortunately, this is bad grammar, not mood. A good beta reader will help with grammar and usage.

Very interesting, I especially liked the suggestion of what was to come, rather than flat-out telling it.

I agree, where are the reviews?? You really did create a great atmosphere and the series of vignettes worked quite well.

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad they were evocative and enjoyable.

Where are the reviews for this? It is a moody and thought provoking piece. You have been very effective in creating the atmosphere of the story.

Author's Response: I'm glad the atmosphere was powerful. This was definitely an experimental piece, and despite it's oddness I'm glad it remained emotive :) I'm glad you liked it.

Ambitious story you've begun. Very intriguing.

Author's Response: Intrigue is good :) sadly this feels like a one-shot :/ I've been working on something new however ... but it may not be completed for quite some time (and I vow to complete it before posting it). Thank you for reading what I have written.
