| My favorite part of this, far and away, is the total lack of surprise with which Snape greets the scent of Hermione in his own reaction to Amortentia. I love that it apparently goes without saying to him, as though he's been aware of it for some time. That little bit of narrative silence made this story something really out of the ordinary. |
