| Whoa. Hermione is a natural. She hasn't done it before, or has she? But, um, as a healer in training she should know that this part of the body – if lovingly taken care of – is in fact NOT “disgustingly unhygienic”. Don't they teach advanced sexual practices anymore ;)? And really, that Snape is the worst submissive ever. Sending the mistress vouchers. Tsk. What an affront! That's like talking unasked. Oh my, every sub of mine would earn the hardest punishment of all: total non-observance. But that's where the mere fun is in that chapter: They are all except straight in their roles and at least Snape is very well aware of that. ( You very well earn your 10/10 for making them act like that alone.) And, oh well, him calling her “my filthy slut of a mistress” and her obvious approval of that says it all.... The most remarkable word in that actually is “MY”. What a deadly sin for a submissive. They are supposed the own NOTHING. Really, now. I am not a devotee of sub!Snape, but now you actually HAVE to send him here, so I can teach him how to be one properly... Author's Response: I don't think Snape would ever make a very orthodox sub... he enjoys the punishment so much that he can't stop misbehaving. And he'd never lose the wicked glint in his eye. ;-) | |||

| THEY CUT HIS HAIR?!? Aaahhh. Nooo. I sincerely hope for a spin-off, that describes in detail the way he tortured and killed the responsible healers. Special explanatory notes regarding the exact amount of blood loss highly welcome. ò_0 ehem.. *cough* on with the review.... The start is just fabulous. It would be a glorious drabble if it had ended after the introduction part! Their following chats are adorable and I was most surprised to read an actually believable about-face of both(!) parties. With Hermione obviously exited and highly pleased exploring her newly-discovered superiority and a sub!Snape that could lie blindfolded and handcuffed on the floor and whom you could still practically feel smirking with aplomb. ... - So that is what happens when Snape is really bored? Well,...er,... I have a copy of “Comparative Studies of Borehole Patterns of the Ancient Recorders of the Baroque Era” that I really would like him to read... So do you mind, to send him over here? Author's Response: Yes, this is absolutely what happens when Snape is bored! :-D But you know, now he's discovered Hermione as a kindred smut-spirit... I don't think either of them will EVER be bored again. Sorry about the haircut! :-o | |||

| Here via the SSHG award noms. Excellent smut! Hawt as all hell and a joy to read a Snape who is so thoroughly and knowingly enjoying being submissive. It's all a filthy game and great fun for it. Author's Response: Hurrah! Thanks very much. My aim was to write a BDSM fic where they would actually be having... dare I say it... fun. Some writers treat the subject terribly seriously, but I can't imagine a sub!Snape who didn't revel in his own depravity with a wicked glint in his eye. | I can't recall if I reviewed this before. If not, I was clearly too lust addled and, um, busy to do so.
*prays to the plot bunny fairies that there's a sequel or some other sub!Sev lurking in your writing files* Author's Response: LOL, thanks very much! I'm delighted you liked it enough to come back. :-) No sequel is planned, but I've got two other fics in the pipeline. As for whether they'll feature a sub!Snape, you'll have to wait and see. I will say, though, that I don't think characters who are 100 per cent sub or 100 per cent Dom work very well in longer fics - sustainable for a two-parter like this one, but over 40 chapters or something, I think it becomes less and less convincing. But what *might* happen in a future fic is for Snape's sub side to make occasional, filthy appearances... ;-) | |||

| This was such an entertaining and well-written bit of smut! I usually go for dom!Severus, but you made sub!Sev so incredibly in character and hot that I may have to change my mind. Hot hot hot! Any chance of a continuance?
Best line ever: "Its about fucking time, you ungrateful bunch of cunts." I can totally see poor bleeding Snape saying that when the Aurors finally show up.

| It has been a while since i've read any fan fiction, particularly SS/HG. However, after stumbling upon this special treat I must say my interest has been reinstated! | I agree completely with Lissa1011 that you have done what I don't think anyone has ever done before in making a sub-Severus so believable and true to character. He never loses his scracsm or wit. It was also refreshing to see that there was so much more going on with them both. Truely a fantastic and very well written fic. I look forward to reading more from you. Author's Response: What a great review - the thing that was uppermost in my mind when I was writing this fic was that Snape mustn't ever lose his 'edge', so to speak, so I'm really pleased you felt that came through! | I still adore this story SO much. I keep coming back to it. Incredible dialogue (your speciality). Author's Response: I'm always incredibly flattered when people tell me they've read a story of mine more than once - and yeah, as you know, I do adore writing dialogue. I was going to say that I like to be able to hear the characters' voices in my head, but that makes me sound slightly schizophrenic... :-O | |||
