Powerful and daunting in what it implies between the lines... Thank you. Author's Response: Hi, thanks for reviewing. The story evolved out of some late night thoughts about what Snape might consider if he had lived and what effect such thoughts would have on him. Sometimes what makes the difference in such dark times is the words or actions of another. Thank you.

Hello, I enjoyed this little narrative because it brings out sharply Severus' conviction of his own need for redemption.
