| I'm not 100% sure why but in the beginning I had my doubts about this...that is until I read the second part. That was definitely the necessary continuation. Severus' pov was essential so I'm glad that you wrote it. It pains me to read about Hermione surrendering like this though..because she's stronger..and if anything, she'd fight him to death instead of opting for suicide but I can understand the choice. SO what about the aftermath? Will there be more? Author's Response: Everyone has their breaking point and after the amount of abuse that Snape put her through I'd say that Snape barring her access to her child was the straw that broke the camel's back. | holy cow! this made me even more sad than the first part!!! i really started tearing up here! Reading the first part was sad because i thought he didn't care about her but now you brought up this whole split personality thing and showed us that he really does love her!! This is perhaps the saddest, most thought provoking fan fiction that i have ever read...and trust me, that is saying a lot. i have read more fics than i can count, and i pretty much read anything that pops up. i have read some pretty disgusting, perverted, horrible things, but none of those affected me in the way that your story did! its just so simple and elegant but at the same time just so sad! and i can believe that it took you eight months to write these...the effort you put in is very clear! thanks so much for writing!! | |||
