| Such a powerful story. There are very few stories written in this sort of style but you've wrought it masterfully and beautifully (and maybe reminiscent of Ariadne? or am I just reading too much into her beta work? ;) ), and thank you for sharing this with us. We are good friends, and I suspect that our similar styles emerge from a deeper similarity (rather than her early beta reading having a direct influence on my style), so, yes--you're not the first to notice the similarity. | There was great tension in that chapter, and you built it and let it resolve very well. For all that he genuinely loves her, I'm sure, I think Hermione's right, and Severus is the link between them all and the Shadow. I would guess it has something to do with the Dark Mark, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Can hardly wait. Author's Response: Interesting speculation there... | That was another intense chapter. Getting them to all realize what was happening was like the dawning of a new day...you could just feel how they all realized what had happened. Love that last part with hermione and snape...it's just love, not the magic.
