I saw this story referred to on Potter Place yahoo group and I looked it up. I have to tell you I love, love, love it. Sure, I was startled to see the WIKTT references and such but I have really gotten into the spirit of the story. I realize it is about 5 years old now, but I think it holds up really well so far.
Thanks for the nice Christmas present.
Cheers, Kat |

Every year it's another round of good-byes, address exchanges, and the sad, slow realization that despite intentions, you will likely never see any of these people ever again, and you will never be as close as you were these last seven years.
So true, I loved that part, and all the little observations within this chapter. |

is the unfinshed business Snape had to discuss with Hermione actually Ramos' Unfinished Business? |

Sigh...Another thing I love about this story is the higher-level turns of phrase you use. The rather formal language style might be a bit OOC, at least for Hermione, but somehow it fits, for this story at least. It gives the whole fic a sort of golden hue, and makes it feel warm and cushy (don't ask me to explain this, it's just how I can best explain the tone of the fic). I love the English language. Yay! |
