| Thank you for the break in Ron Bashing. While on occasion it can be humorus, or necesarry for certain plots I find many stories suffer for it when there is no plot reason to do it. If one wants them to split up at the begining because they don't like Ron, that's fine, but theres seldom a good reason to make him an immature twit in his 20's. Thank you for your good portrayal. |

| Very good chapter. Too bad in canon Snape was never allowed to have a real chance to show more of the man inside to the Golden Trio, or even other members of the Order. Moody didn't make it easy--or even possible. |

| Hhmm. I feel kind of bad commenting on the A/N rather than the story, but I too hate StupidGit!Ron. The characterization of Ron and Harry in so much SS/HG fiction really decreases the enjoyment for me of many of the stories. Obviously, I will say that I like what you have done with Ron in this story so far. |

| I adored this chapter. The conversation between Ron and Hermione was brilliant, and I like that you write his character in a more rounded and realistic way. |

| I like that you don't have Ron as StupidGit!Ron, it's nice to have a break from that, and actually have an intelligent cast of characters. |

| Hey, how interesting that the Author Notes for this chapter match exactly the review I plan to give. I love that you don't make Ron as stupid as he is usually portrayed. I'm not a great Ron fan, personally, since he is Hermione's most likely canon pairing, and I don't really want canon to interfere with the Snape/Hermione way of things, but I don't like it when he is bashed unnecessarily. Thus, your depiction of Heartfelt!Ron is exactly the right balance of all his best qualities. Yay! |
