Reviews for Beyond 84 Charing Cross Road

Bloody fantastic! I loved the evil Dumbledore and meddling Yorick. Romantic not-romantic Severus was brilliant as well. Thank you for the great reading!

Author's Response: I'm so sorry. I didn't see this until just now. We're always happy to gain a new reader who enjoys our little tale. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review.

I read this some time ago, then a happy random search found it again. It is as beautiful, witty, intelligent and moving as the first time. Thank you for the pleasure your writing has afforded me.

Author's Response: Thank you and it seems that the little helper that notifies me when there are new reviews has failed me. I'm sorry it too so long to respond.

I suddenly wish to experience having a penpal like Simon. Though one couldn't ignore the practicality of typing your hearts out in a chatbox. It would be nice to receive a good old fashioned letter. With a poor handwriting, smell of wax, ink creases and paper sprinkled with perfume. :)

Author's Response: It does have an element of romance, doesn't it? Thank you so much for your kind review. I'm so sorry it took so long to respond. The little tags that tell me there is a new review doesn't seem to be working.

It feels... cliché but not. Its hard to explain. It just feels so natural that eventhough its the last chapter, didn't feel like an ending. Just a strong proof of that the feeling is mutual. That after this, it would be easy to imagine how they would practically live with each other. And how funny it is to imagine how Hermione's friends would strongly react with this development. Overall, its so good that I feel I have a book hangover. Probably an after effect for reading non-stop but its worth it.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind review. I'm so sorry it took so long to respond. The nice little thing that tags me when there is a new review doesn't seem to be working.

I never peg him to act like a Gryffindor, being that reckless and stu- no, he still did it for his best interest. So technically he still acts as a Slytherin. Though I bet if the antidote didn't do it, Hermione might throttle him for doing it in the first place. Sigh.

Author's Response: Probably. I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Thank you for your review.

I'm utterly confused by the quote at last paragraph. Though it vague and open for a lot of interpretation. I can only shamelessly assume that it hints to the progress of those two.

Author's Response: I wasn't quite sure what you were talking about and went over to do a quick check. If you're talking about Yorick, yes it was a comment on the progress they were making.

To risk his cover (by finally using his real name) for Hermione speaks more than a thousand volumes of those old tomes in the bookshop. Such a strong romantic move for a non-romantic Simon or shall I say Severus? It good to see he value Hermione enough to lower his pride. :)

Author's Response: I think too, it was finally being tired of "hiding" and being able to be proud of who he is/was.

Beautiful period. I have fallen in love with the story and read it twice back to back. It's left me with a warm n fuzzy feeling. Thank you so very much for the story. I also love Yorick. He is my sweeie pie. Very cute!! But I do sincerely wish if I could tempt or bribe you with something for an epilogue or a separate one shot. A sequel will have jumping up and down my bed in glee. Pls consider a long epilogue or a one shot.

Author's Response: Aww, you're very sweet and we're so glad you loved our tale. It's been a quite a few years since we wrote Beyond, so life--and interests--have moved in different directions. One of these days I hope to publish my own stories, therefore, working with someone else's characters would do me more harm than good. Look to your own imagination, what you want for them, and say, "Yes! That's what happened."
