LOL Poor Severus, though it seems to be parent's fate to endure such persistence from children. It sure creates memories...
Author's Response: Absolutely. And then, one day, you wish you could go back to those times - even for only an hour. Thanks for reading! |

Hello,
As a parent, I sure can relate to this! My own husband often falls asleep before the kids when the stories are done. Lovely vignette.
Congratulations on your son's graduation. They sure grow up fast, don't they? Though of course, sometimes it seems interminable (on the nth reading of that special book).

Author's Response: Too bad new parents don't start out with hindsight. It sure would have been helpful! Thanks for reading. |

That was lovely. We have ALL had stories like those, haven't we? I still remember the girl I babysat wanting the same stupid Berenstain Bears book... not even a story, just noises on each page. Bleah.
Author's Response: It's truly a test of one's patience, isn't it? Thanks for reading! |

In our house it's "the Very Hungry Caterpillar" and "Toestomper and the Caterpillars". My son could "read" them to us. Now he's six and can really read so it's easier. Poor, Severus, his time will come. Wait until Mairin discovers "I Spy" books.....urrgh.
Author's Response: Make my eyes cross just thinking about it. Thanks! |

Ahh little kids and their stories. My favorites were The pokey Little Puppy, and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. But we all go through that stage. Nice story, it's funny watching Severus be a dad.
Author's Response: It's growing on him, isn't it? Thanks for reading. |
