It's a sad but beautifully written gift -- to all us readers. I like the physical details that add depth to their relationship. If I were more of a conspiracy theorist I'd give this a My Last Duchess sort of reading w/Snape culpable for Hermione's death? Which is just my brain going down the wrong rabbit hole. |
