Well written and original.

Brilliantly written!!!! I really liked the disjointed timeline. It helps the story to have it flow this way. I would love to be a fly in the wall as she begins to talk to him.

Oh, this is just heart-breaking! And it is so for all involved, even if Ron doesn't know it's the case for him, too. The timeline certainly is unusual. I think it adds to the furtive nature of the events of the story. It's quite effective. I thought it was wonderful how you showed the intuition of both (grand)mothers involved. There was so much conversation left hanging in the air, not spoken out loud...

This is such a sad and bittersweet tale, for everyone involved, but especially so for HG and SS. Poor souls. Highly creative as well! Thank you very much for sharing.

Quite different, my heart went out for Hermione, in Ron's family there wouldn't have been a spot in hell that Ron would think he was fertile. However, I don't see why Hermione would go tell Severus, however I would have liked to see his reaction. Great job, I like how Hermione created spells :)

Author's Response: Thanks! It's great to hear that you liked the story and found HG's predicament moving! [And for me, HG just needed someone she could talk to about it all.]

I really enjoyed this story, but I found myself a little puzzled. Okay, Snape's the obvious donor and father of Rose & Hugo. Hermione's followed him to discover this reality. But since the artificial insemination was done officially through Dr. Stapleton, does Snape even know those kids are his? (Before being told by Hermione, that is.) It just seemed like something of a leap within the story itself. I haven't read any of your other work, so I don't know if you've already gotten Sev & Mione together or not. But in this particular story she seemed to be invested in being a decent wife: she didn't want to hurt Ron's or Molly's feelings (or to get any grief from them, I got that part, too). She was also doing it the legitimate muggle way, not just jumping into an affair. So she went to discover who the father really was, and then found it was Snape. She trailed him to find what his life was like now. But to have her suddenly show up at his door and make her announcement to him (which I cannot go back to quote, or I will lose all I've already written), did not follow logically to me. That's not a criticism; I'm just pointing out what seemed to me a jump that didn't seem logically connected. I do very much like the story, though. Very much.

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the story! I think some of your confusion might be that you're trying to make the story have a romantic relationship between HG and SS. That's not the case - they may end up being special to each other without needing to be in love. And no, SS is not supposed to know he is their father until HG tells him - that's an intentional part of this.

More and more lately, I have found myself only lightly skimming new fics do to my lack of interest, and what seems to be decreasing quality-- and then I came upon your fic. There is something so brilliant about the way you write, and your imagery is absolutely fantastic. I definitely hung on to every word, and my heart wrenched right along with Hermione's. I think your rather open-ended ending was perfect, and that overall, this story was great.

Author's Response: Thanks! Getting reviews like this makes it all so worth while to have sweated over writing it (and then sweated over whether people would like it)! Thank you for enjoying my unusual story!
