| Should have favorited this long ago. Not only do I completely envy the French businessman arrangement (le sigh), but I also admire the more cynical history of the castle, the revised curriculum for History of Magic, and the detailed look at Hogwarts' bureaucracy. Oh, and the surefire way to embarrass Albus Dumbledore. Can't help feeling he had it coming. | |||

| This is so unique and really interesting! I love your Hermione, she's so driven and intelligent and Slytherin. : ) I can TOTALLY see Severus being like this. There are many reasons he'd go for it...being lonely, getting back at Weasley who he never really liked, and, of course, the constant growing attraction that you portrayed so well. Very hot fic. | Oh, me likey! Me wanna have her situation too!!! I think the older you get, and the longer you've been in a non-romantic marriage, the more you realize that adultery can't be defined in terms of black and white. If you have a wonderful family but a lousy sex life that can't be fixed, why screw it up by divorcing? Why do that to the kids? If you can be discrete and respectful of all parties involved, sometimes you just need more and as an adult? You have the right to say "I deserve more." Author's Response: This is one of the main things I was pondering whilst writing the fic. What people will and won't consider doing whilst in a relationship does change with time and age and all the things that come with it. I was of course wondering what I would do in her situation, and I'm still honestly not sure. It's really good to hear that someone else thinks it's a valid point of view! | |||

| I can't really say more than others have. but I wanted to leave a review anyway. I usually don't read sexy fics that have adultery because the circs get in the way and I end up feeling really bad for the one being cheated on... that being said, I did read this fic and I really liked it. Like you, I feel bad for Ron, but like the other readers,I enjoyed seeing a gritty Hermione. Great job | |||

| i shouldn't like this fic, but i do. very much so, in fact. it probably has something to do with hating ron. yes. Author's Response: Well there's nothing wrong with just thinking about adultory. I heartily dislike the Ron of the books, but I feel dreadfully sorry for this one ;-) | |||
