I can never get enough of this story and come back to it on a regular basis. It will never get old in my eyes. |

Nice little story, with particularly good dialogue. Why don't men know how to speak this way to the women they allegedly adore? So simple. |

"Severus gently turned his girlfriend into his arms and rested his chin on the top of her head.
‘I am putty in your hands. If you feel like a fight, I’ll do my best, but I was honestly looking forward to seeing you. Try not to faint but I don’t feel like sarcasm tonight,’ he murmured.
A snuffle of laughter against his chest told him that this battle was half won. When he listened to other men complain about the volatile tempers of their wives and girlfriends, he always wondered if they realised that the offer of an apologetic cuddle was relatively effortless, and powerfully disarming."
This is one of the best lines i've ever read in a fanfiction. There's so much truth in your words. Maybe i should make my next boyfriend read your fanfic then he'd know how to treat me if i'm volatile.
Author's Response: Your review made me laugh loudly! It's only taken 12 years for my husband to begin to understand the Power of the Cuddle. Even though I sat him down years ago and explained very carefully that sometimes all I want from him is a nice cuddle and the words "Everything is going to be okay." I strongly advise having the same chat with your next man ;-) |

You say so much with so little, I just want to make sure I did understand something properly. In your penultimate (next-to-last) sentence, is Hermione's neck crick due to overenthusiastic oral pleasure given by her to Sev due to his proposal? Nice little story--thanks for such a nice bit of work!
Author's Response: Ho hum! I'm often not so good with the explaining. Hermione jerks her head up in surprise at what Severus says, and cricks her neck in the process. Sorry about the confusion. Thanks for the review! |

Aww - that was just perfectly lovely. So very Snapish in his way of gently manipulating her for her own good (he has learned a thing or two about women, hasn't he?), and then that casually thrown in proposal... Loved it!!
Author's Response: Do you know, I'm ridiculously happy to see this review because it means I've written something that suited your requested fluff requirement. That makes me hugely happy xxx |

Wonderful. I don't get it though - he's just implying the rings or is he like, "Marry me?" *chuckles* I guess it's the first choice.
Then again, this scrap is good. Why don't you continue it? (oh, too much work... *grumbles*)
10/10! May your Muse still be awake and may your writing continue (not this fic, if it's at its end). ;D
Author's Response: Er, it's definitely a proposal. A very Slytherin proposal. Thank you! |
