| I loved Falling--have long been awaiting a sequel to it, in fact--and this new story is going on my favorites. I love the way they talk to each other, so comfortably, and I love the last line. (Though I feel like I missed something--why again was Hermione crying over the post? I feel clueless. :P) Lovely one-shot. :) Author's Response: Y'know, I'm not sure why Hermione was crying over the post, only that for some reason the idea of Harry & Luna tying the knot made her indescribably sad. | this is such a wonderful story! i loved the further adventures of our couple, as prodded along by the devious, magical castle. i laughed SO HARD at the mantle throwing the floo powder into the ashbin, and then the door to the supply room slamming shut. it's so funny, and so brilliant of you to have taken the leap from the moving staircases, etc, to make the castle like a living, breathing creature . i loved falling, and i love this story just as much. | The usual problem with sequels is that they often mess up the romance of the first story--that you loved--in order to get some tension. Since Severus and Hermione had just begun to get to know each other in the first story, this misunderstanding was believable and didn't detract from what happended in Falling. I love this insistent, sneaky castle. Someone had to take a hand. Although I did have to suspend some disbelief a little. I can't believe Ron and Victor could have reached the point of adopting without the whole wizarding world knowing ALL about it. Maybe Rita Skeeter died in the last battle. Maybe Snape has sworn off the Prophet for life. Maybe the students have stopped being horrible gossips. ;-) But the kisses made up for it.
