I can totally see Severus as one worthy of a Christmas eve visit ala Scrooge. Not surprising that he would feel a few Gryffindors would be deserving as well. Like Sirius if he had survived. Well done!

I enjoyed this - well-written and perceptive and a good variation on a theme. However, I think you could have expanded it a bit more. I think it works as a one-shot, but for me it just needs to be a one-shot with a little more substance/detail... as it is, it seems as if Snape's change of heart is a bit quick. But I really enjoyed this, all the same.

i liked your take on this theme. severus is a perfect candidate for a spiritual makeover, so to speak. i thought you did a nice job with this.
