| I don't give out reviews nearly often enough. I'm gonna make an exception here - I've read this story at least 10 times in the past six months. It's one of my absolute favorite fics in this fandom. There's not much that could be improved upon it, although I always try to give out concrit when I review - really, the story is great the way it is. I thank you for writing it. | |||

| I enjoyed this story immensely because it shows a side of SS/HG that is so rarely seen: Epic Fail. It somewhat reminds me of Hayseed's "Getting the Hang of Thursdays," in that respect. I also like the fact that this was from Lavender's POV - I like Lavender, and find that she is grossly underrated. Good work! | |||

| I like it a lot. And I like the way you ended it there. I'm not sure I wouldn't want to know what happens next, but it surely is a completely different story that what you wanted to tell us, so I understand the need to stop there. I appreciate the A/N about the tarot reading. As sometimes happens with time, the cards tell us different things than the pre-established set of words in a book, so I was wondering what exactly did Lavender see in those cards. | Really good story! I like how you developed Lavendars and Harmiones relationship - how they interact. Your writing of seperate lines for certain statements gives the dramatic pause that makes this story flow so well. The Tarot reading is well done too and I appreciate the clarification at the end (I dabbled in Tarot for a bit and only have a minor understanding so your post script gives it life). If there is more to this story I will be very excited but as it is it could stand alone well too! Great job! Author's Response: Thank you so much for your feedback! I appreciate it greatly. | I agree with your ending, and believe it was perfect as left up to interpretation, much like Lavendar's own interpretations of the cards. Although you expressed dislike about your long author's note explanation, I do appreciate your information, as I was fairly unfamiliar with Tarot. Either way, I want you to know your note did not ruin the ending. Great story. Author's Response: Thanks! It wasn't until I had the document open to format it that I remembered the long author's note. It was HUGE! I almost didn't post it with the story, but I figured what the heck. | I liked this a lot. Lavender seldom gets a sympathetic, rational treatment, and you've made her and her viewpoint very believable. Author's Response: I like stories about the lesser characters. Maybe someday I'll do someone else, like Aberforth or Colin Creevey. Thanks for reviewing! | |||
