Great story. I have never though on this kind of happy end for Severus but it's a good one and so realistic. Although I have to admit it was fun, I'm a bit surprised with the physical modifications he did during the pregnancy. Black eyes and hair is a bit farfetched even with powerful magic. I imagined him going for Hermione's colours but just a shade or two darker. Not black but almost. I don't have anything against his looks but so unprobable looks could put a wall between him and 'Dad'. I don't know but I would think more than 50% fathers would get doubts about the child being theirs. However, we don't know Ron and Hermione's genetic background and genes can't jump a generation or two. Oh well, enough rambling. The story IS great. Well done.

Author's Response: Thanks. someone else brought the point up about genetics v magic. All I can say is I was born with black hair which turned to mousy brown a couple of years later. I also envisage Severus' hair ending up more like Hermione's than Ron;s and his eyes lightening as well - different but not enough for Ron to demand a paternity test :) |

| I absolutely LOVE this story! At first I thought it was going to be another Hermione-living-missarbly-with-Ron thing, and was so glad to find out it wasn't. It would be fun to find out who Molly 'got'. And some more, to see what else happens too him... |

| that was a really cool story. i wish it wasn't a one-shot... i would have loved to see what happens next. also, a comversation with molly about her past experiences. ooohhh, or if he was reborn in another body at met up with hermione later. sorry to ramble, but that was such a bittersweet story. good work! |

| I really liked this. It was interesting to see the changing dynamics of the characters' relationships. (This sure gives the Oedipus complex a whole new twist, hey?) |
