| I just finished this, and even though it’s been years since it was first published, I have to comment. Your take on a Snape/Hermione almost, sort of, kinda romance?… is ludicrous. I know you kept stating that you weren’t writing a romance, but I’m still not sure what your story was about. It had a beginning and an end, but that’s about it. This fic went nowhere in particular and read like a bad soap opera minus the commercials. You kept stating in your author notes that you wanted your fic to be ‘realistically’ portrayed. The universe you were writing in had very little to do with reality. Witches, wizards, and evil dark lords don’t exist in our world… at least they didn’t last time I checked ;) Realism wasn’t exactly needed here…escapism was. And passion. Where was it? I’ve never seen two people, even years later, claiming to love each other in the way you’ve shown. If they HAD gotten together, they would’ve bored each other to death. Guess it’s a good thing they didn’t. |

| Although it saddens me that they didn't end up together, it didn't quite fit in the premise of the story. Very good read!! |

| Bitter sweet but lovely. I liked your ron and i feel like this is more canonlike than most stories. i wept and smiled at the same time at the end. Great writing! |
