| Yes, this IS how DH should end. Your version (including the hilarious Ripped and Torn) goes down so much easier than that nauseous stuff Jo K(for 'Killer') Rowling is peddling. As one who has experienced a previous fandom in which a vindictive author tried to kill off half of my favorite pairing (it was television's Beauty and the Beast), I can say with authority that, where fandom decrees It Ain't So — it bloody well ain't so! It's fiction, and we can do anything about it we want. And what I want is to ignore her ending. Therefore, he's not, either, dead. (Nyah! Take that, Rowling!) Good job, Irena. |

| Thanks for saving Severus! I sobbed for pages and pages when I read the book.
One little quibble though, it was Sirius who banged Snape's head on the ceiling repeatedly when they were leaving the Shrieking Shack in PoA. Lupin was tied to Ron and Wormtail. Besides which, Remus has much better manners than that. :^) |
