| Oooooh, very, ve-ry nice! It "is" fluffy-sweet, as you warned us, but not sappy-sweet---more sinfully sweet, like a rich dessert that you know you shouldn't eat but it is just so wickedly GOOD you can't help it! But just as sneaking such a wickedly fattening snack is sinfully satisfying, so is the "spice" in your story, of Hermione's rapier-intellect analyzing both herself and others with the uncompromising clarity of a laser-beam, and Snape's snarkiness attempting to mask the vulnerabilities inside. I love your characterizations of them, and can't wait for more! Author's Response: Thanks! I do think Snape is just suffering from not being hugged enough as a child.
