| Absolutely delightful! What a wonderfully believable way to bring Hermione and Severus together. The anticipation was sweet and erotic. I only wish you would have written a little bit more about their first night together. You can be proud of this story. I needed cheering and your story was perfect. The last thing that could have cheered me was some angst filled drama. Thank you. |

| I love your initial set-up, that something as silly as a romance novel would bring Hermione and Snape together.
I think it works out quite logically that Snape would be the only one who could get a smile out of Hermione. He would be the only one who didn't walk on eggshells, because... well, that's not just his thing. It's great how you let that be the thing that gets them to appreciate each other.

"I’m gathering information for that book you insist I write.”
Snape’s brows lifted fractionally. “Oh? I was under the impression that information gathering for such a novel involved more physical activity.”
Hermione felt her face flush and her heartbeat speed up. She dropped her eyes to the book in her hands, turning it over to hide the ridiculous cover. “I’ve always been one for learning from books.”

He smirked, an evil gleam dancing in his dark eyes. “Oh, my apologies, Granger. I imagine you need to brush up on the sexual aspect of things before you begin writing it. Yes?”
Hermione felt like her entire body flushed red, but she wasn’t sure if it was from embarrassment or rage. She nearly threw him out of her office, telling him never to infer anything about her private life. Only the smug look on his face stopped her. Getting angry would only give him what he wanted. Instead, she inhaled a deep, calming breath. “Are you offering to help, then?”
For a brief, glorious moment, Snape was absolutely speechless.
- This was absolutely priceless!

After a moment’s hesitation, Severus signed the note with his given name.
- This has to be a turning point. Signing with his given name means that he's at least considering going anywhere with this. Which totally makes me cheer him on!

“As infuriating as they could be, I still miss them terribly,” Hermione said softly. She stopped and looked down at her shoes as they slowly sunk into the muddy ground along the lake. She knew he had also stopped just past her, waiting for her to resume their walk.
Finally, he cleared his voice and spoke up. “At the risk of sounding terribly unlike myself, I’ve a willing ear if you wish to talk about anything—even the bane of my existence himself.”
Hermione scuffed her feet and looked up to meet his eyes, a small smile on her face. “I appreciate that.”

| I really really enjoyed this story. I loved how you managed to make Sev sound so Sev. I loved reading all of his condescending comments. Can't wait to read more stories from you, this was my first. Oh! and I also loved how he was still himself but I found myself really liking him as a person.
