Ummm....McGonagall as Voldemort's agent??? LOLOLOLOL. Okay, I understand AU in fanfic (and this story should be marked AU) but this is just ridiculous. |

very interesting, I believe that is the first evil MG I have read before. |

I suppose McGonagall would have been a student at Hogwarts around the same time as Tom Riddle. |

I really enjoyed this! Evil MInerva ... don't think I've come across that before. I'll have to listen to the audio version! Very well done, as always. :) |

sweeeeeeeeeeet.....
;)
seriously, though. great work. I like how characters we were not ever supposed to question (like Harry) showed their true colors, which we might have suspected had JKR not beaten us into hero-worshipping submission of the volatile not-always-nice guy he really is...
believable. evn the Minerva part.
great work!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for a lovely review!
I've been thinking for a long time about the lesser characters - Harry just kind of happened in this one, lol. But I have no doubt that there is far more to Minerva than meets the eye. I guess we'll find out in a few weeks... :-) |

Oh, I did like this. It's a refreshingly different take on what could happen, though I have to say that DE Minerva was a shock.
I like the quirkiness of this story, with the messaging done via Patronius' (or should that be Patronii?) :p Snape's Phoenix Patronus, with Fawkes also coming onto the scene, is an interesting twist and the 'right' behest from Dumbledore for asking the unthinkable of Snape.
I also loved your OC Charms master, plus the idea that Flitwick was still sulking about the fact that Snape had managed to surprise him and stun him. Lots of lovely details in a warm and mesmerising story. :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Your review means the world to me.
I guess the way I portrayed Minerva in this was very much coloured by the evil!Minerva essay on LJ sometime last year. But I still have no doubt that there is more to her than we know to date. I'd be very surprised if Book 7 doesn't give us some revealing information about her. |
