| Gah! Why on earth did you leave the chapter like that? I've just read the entirety of this story while ignoring my calculus homework. | We have to remember that Voldemort didn't really get started as Dark Lord until he was about the same age as Severus/Sirius. I can imagine this coming down to Harry and Hermione having to decide which of them is it. I think it's Sirius, because why else would he have been brought back to life by some Power or the other ? Harry of course, will want it to be Severus, and when faced with overwhelming evidence to the contrary, will not be able to bring himself to kill his beloved godfather. So it will be up to Hermione to settle things, but smashing the watch. Author's Response: The outcome should be almost as smashing as your evocative review! | I really am developing a dislike for Sirius. He is almost as troublesome as V. You really bring out the excesses of his personality with stark clarity. I would almost steal his watch if I could. | Oh boy, Snapey is on fire. I love your evil Snape! I think all of the other reviewers gave you enough substance - I just wanted to offer my general encouragement. This is your most interesting chapter yet... Sev has turned a corner in my mind. But he's too old to be the next dark lord! Also - I know some of the ladies out there may think the possessiveness thing is weird, but I think it's totally hot (especially in this context). (Although I suppose people wouldn't be reading this tale if they were so concerned about that.) I think maybe me finding this hot is counterproductive to lady rights, but oh well. I love that you're pushing the envelope and "going there" in an expert way. Author's Response: Snape's possessiveness is certainly up for debate. I'd say half the reviewers love it and half hate Hermione's weakness. I think there are many realistic ways to depict the ss/hg relationship, and this is just one of them.
