Riveting Chapter! My interest was piqued with your ending indicating Severus' father was a Jew - I have contemplated this possibility myself. Hundreds of thousands of other minorities were also imprisioned: political and religious dissidents, homosexuals, Roma, physically and mentally disabled et. al. However, I lean toward your thinking, as well. Great story! joannie

Yow! Severus' dad was Polish? And a survivor of a Nazi concentration camp? I didn't see that one coming - very interesting... Of course, Severus went and joined the Wizarding Nazis, then, didn't he? Good chapter! |

*Harry’s angry at a lot of things. It must be hard for him to keep track.* That's just a beautiful line!
Interesting plot--very original. I am looking forward to reading more.

Now, that's intense. That's so very much intense. Your balance between Snape's personality and his uncharaceristic actions due to a new starting point is challenging and joyfully intricate. You are unrolling Snape's life and background here thoroughly and you make us discover his history in a reader-friendly way. It's unusual in these settings and I appreciate it very much. I must just wonder when DEs might search him out in St. Mungo's (to finish him off, perhaps). Surely, we will eventually come to the reasons behind his whereabouts and I'm looking forward to those.

Wow! Excellent tie-in with WWII! Now if he knew about the Nazi's, could he have been a spy all along to stop the genocide?
