Your balance between Snape's personality and his uncharaceristic actions due to a new starting point is challenging and joyfully intricate. You are unrolling Snape's life and background here thoroughly and you make us discover his history in a reader-friendly way. It's unusual in these settings and I appreciate it very much. I must just wonder when DEs might search him out in St. Mungo's (to finish him off, perhaps).
