| I've loved this piece a long time; merely formalizing my love by saying it now...rather like the two of them! Thank you for letting Hermione find Severus in Alaska; it felt perfect. | So very lovely. A very sad situation for them but I like imagining it working out this way. You know that hermione would find him. But why oh why is Severus in ALASKA? crazy!! Author's Response: I think Hermione is a very determined character, not to mention extremely loyal, and so, yes, indeed she would find him. Alaska was the place I thought least likely for Severus Snape to live while still having an English speaking population. Thanks for the compliment and reading the story. | |||

I love this story; Hermione's pursuit of Snape, his longing for her...such deep passion and love and desire and and and ...just everything.
DH Author's Response: I know I wrote this pre-DH, but we know that Snape, when he gives his heart, does so completely. We also know that she is a loyal and tenacious woman, so it seemed just the right way to play with this. I'm so pleased you liked it. Thank you. | |||

Thanks! Author's Response: Thank you, thank you! You know, adult use of standard spells always bothers me a bit. Wizards live for so long, I just can't imagine them not adapting things to suit their purpose, especially people like Hermione and Severus. Reader's Response: Definitely. Hermione and Severus are both the types to modify existing remedies, spells, etc. before searching for brand new ones. After all, any research would inevitably indicate potential uses for currently existing spells and such. It would be silly to go around inventing something brand new when something that already works could be modified with a bit of finesse. I don't suppose either of them would waste their time. But at the same time, they would want to make advances, and so they would be likely to simply work with what they've got and make it better. And whenever my friends question me about Potterotica, I tell them to imagine Wingardium Leviosa applied to the bedroom. Now THAT is an adult use of a standard spell (although not quite what we're talking about here). But I imagine it could be modified quite nicely, as well. :) Author's Response: Exactly ... I quite agree with you. As far as Potterotica, I think you're one of the few who has really toyed with the use of magic in the bedroom quite well. Hmmmm. You've just given me an idea or three!
