| So touching. I could see him doing this. Such a beautiful love. Severus isn't a man to love on will. It would kill him to live with out her. Sure he had a family, but they were all grown up. He promised her to be with her in their marriage vows and I can hear the ''not even death will do us part''. Beautifully written. Accomplished many tears. I loved it. |

| This is a beautiful and touching story. I love how Severus takes care of Hermione in the end. But I also agree and feel that he should have stayed alive to take care of his children and grandchildren. It seems rather out of character of him to follow Hermione immediately afterwards in death, given how he felt he had to take care of Harry and other people in canon while giving up his own desires.. |

| I fear that I must be the needle in the haystack and give a little criticism. While well-written and poignant, I have a real problem with the ending. To suggest that it's something beautiful and wonderful for a husband to follow his wife into death is frankly rather terrible. He has children and grandchildren that love, and need him, and it would be a callous man that would willingly let his loved ones go through two tragedies in one day. A good husband would live and take care of his family.
I just felt that this needed to be said. |
