| Fantastic start! So, I have been speculating on all the options regarding Severus in order for this to be a SS/HG fic. I've come up with the following options: Snape's not dead, Snape's a Vampire, Action with Snape takes place in flashbacks to the past, Snape as a portrait, Hermione goes back in time and saves Snape, Snape as a ghost, Snape is stuck in some other form due to an experiment gone wrong (maybe something to do with the swampy scent?). So many options, and at this point all equally possible (including the ones I may not have thought of). I really hope you update soon, you have me at the edge of my seat!
