Keep re-reading this (and loving it!) just one jarring note Alumni is the plural of Alumnae (male) Luna would be an Alumna of Ravenclaw :)

Ok I know my review are a bit back-arse-wards, I mean backwards(blushing at the slip-up), but I just have to know. What is the name of your first book and what name will you use has an author so I can find it and get lost in all your lovely words. As my boyfriend as figure of the easy way to get me to do anything is to use words. I absolutly(You know what I think I spelled that wrong in my last review I sent to you. **I feel so silly**) adore them and you use them all so wonderfully together. I wish I had that talent but alsa I have yet to write a fanfic because I can begin but not end. And you come up with the most wonderful ending. You must think I'm crazy or something!!!!! **Thankyou a million and one times.**

Author's Response: The Sword, available February 6th, 2007, at most bookstores (and available in pre-order from Amazon.com and other sources) and The Wolf, available April 3rd, are the first two novels. The Master and The Song are the next two, but as yet they have no release dates available. They are written under the name "Jean Johnson". (Yes, it is a very boring name. But no one else has it at The Berkley Group, the publisher--oh, and the books will be printed under the trade-imprint of Berkley Sensations. Don't ask me for the ISBN info, as I don't have that yet.) I'm glad you enjoyed the ending to my story; I absolutely *wink* enjoy giving my readers a good time, preferrably with a Happy Ending™!

...The notable exception being
Crossing The Line, because the ending on that story is supposed to be open-ended and "unfinished"... Hugs, ~Lotm

Okay, here goes another review. As per usual, I loved this story, but I did have some comments about parts of the story I wished to address. First was the fact that Albus Dumbledore came back as a ghost. Personally, it seems that Dumbledore would never become a ghost because he does say "death is the next great adventure" but then I thought, maybe he came back solely to help Severus, which would fall in his character. I wanted to know about your thought process on having Albus come back as a ghost...I mean, if he wanted to help Severus avoid incrimination, it seems he would make due with a pensieve saying Snape was innocent. And I loved the fact that Hermione hired Severus...it showed how desperate he really was, to work for a former student, but it also showed how much respect he had for Hermione because Snape would never work for someone who couldn't match his formidable intelligence! Congratulations on that, it was very subtly done! I also loved the interaction between Luna and Hermione although I would have thought Luna would be more horrified at the thought of Hermione and her Potions Master in an erotic romance novel! Then again, she is Looney Luna so maybe not. You also implied that when Harry killed Voldemort, he himself also died. I was wondering if this is what you think will happen in the real books. I've actually considered that possibility, and although it holds considerable merit, I believe it is much more probable that Harry ends up defeating Voldemort and has his scar disappear. I really think that is how the seventh book is going to end...and it would make sense. Of course, it also brings up other questions, like, if Harry's connection to Voldemort (via the scar) disappears, will his other abilities like being a Parselmouth also disappear? Oh, dear, there I go on a tangent. I'd better stop or I'll keep on this for a long time. I just wanted to say this was a very interesting read and a wonderful challenge for a fanfiction! I would love to see what kind of fics this turns out! Although, you didn't meet your own requirement of at least five chapters! *grins* you should follow your own rule and write more! If you don't have other plot bunnies nibbling at your ankles of course....

Author's Response: The ghost thing...well, pensieves were being done-to-death. And they never say that ghosts last forever in this realm (though it's implied they do hang around for an awful long time). Maybe Dumbledore hung around long enough to exonerate Snape (which he would be FAR more persistent about, and more likely to be successful thereby, than the memories placed in a pensieve alone, which might get overlooked or even considered rubbish) and then he vanished into the Afterlife? Anyway, I'm glad you caught the subtlety of Hermione hiring Snape...and yes, I believe Looney Luna wouldn't have a problem picturing the SS/HG 'ship--she is a Ravenclaw and is therefore considered smart and perceptive! (Even if a titch twitchy in the brainpan.) I think it's just as likely for Harry to die as it is for Harry to survive; just as likely for his scar to remain as it is for his scar to fade away. But *peers both ways cautiously* I do think that, if his scar vanishes, so will his Parselmouth ability!

And I DID meet the requirement for 5 chapters--there's several chapters embedded within each Ashwinder chapter, that's all. Never said they had to be Ashwinder-style chapters! (If you'll examine
Matrimony and I Have A Secret, both have several chapters condensed into each site-chapter.) ~Lotm

Another one of your absoultly great stories. Please Please keep them coming. And Please say you are becoming a real writer. Once again you are so great and what I great idea. You get me through some every boring and upsetting times. Thanks one of your loyal fans who would praise you every time I re-read one of your stories.

Author's Response: I can say with absolute honesty that I am becoming a real writer. I signed a 4 book contract with The Berkley Group for 4 fantasy-romance novels. SQUEE!! *ahem*. With or without that, however, I'm just happy I can please you so much with my writing! ~Lotm
