This is a lovely and touching story. You should change the status to completed, so people who read only completed stories will find it and enjoy it.

Author's Response: Thank you for reminding me to do so...done! Thanks for reading!

It wound between his legs, and he resisted the urge to kick it, knowing Hermione would be angry if she caught him at it. Lol... Wonderful epilogue!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading!

A lovely ending! I know it isn't all sweetness and light for Severus and Hermione, but I hope it appeased some of the outrage inspired by your last chapter all the same. ;D In any case, I think you've given us a very inspiring look at the power of love and devotion, something that can only be seen in times like those your protagonists have faced.

Author's Response: This will probably sound horrible after you've just commended me for showing the power of love and devotion, but I think in the end it is easier for Severus to love someone who is wholly dependent on him, rather than someone more independent, more like the old Hermione, who might leave him. She never would have, of course, but there you have my cynical take on the ending. Thanks for reading!

Ok, you succeeded in making us feel much better! Snape in reading glasses...*snorts* I could so picture that! Thanks, ShadowHand

Author's Response: I wasn't going to write an epilogue originally but people pointed out that I hadn't really explained how she would deal with the memory loss. If I made you feel better about it in the process then so much the better. Glad you liked and thanks for reading!

I'm sad to see this story finished. I read it very slowly just so I could prolong the experience. I loved how it all ended actually. It's bittersweet and sad. And perfect. I think a straight out happy ending wouldn't have worked as well. Severus' love for Hermione really shined in this final chapter.

Author's Response: There was never any doubt in my mind on the ending, but I'm glad that people like it. Thanks so much for reading!
