O_O Very well written....I guess I'm glad he met his demise and saw the error of his ways.

Author's Response: I have to agree. Thanks

that was amazing. You really captured the mindset that Ive tried for so long to piece together in its entirty.. I really really liked it. Its a nice break from fluff.. and I'd like to think she loathed him.. Im no fan that kind of stockholm syndrom

Author's Response: Those are my thoughts. She hated what he did to her, the situation, everything, and the only reason she lets Harry/anyone else assume otherwise is b/c she's not ready to talk about it. Her eyes and forgiveness at the end? Well, I'd like to think that she's quite compassionate and was crying for the way things turned out--him being such a man as this instead of whom she thought. Plus he did write a long letter. Forgiveness isn't forgetting. Thank you for reading.

Wonderful work as alway, even if it was a wee bit darker than i am use to ..

Author's Response: Thank you for reading. Sorry about that. :)

The last chapter finally makes it all seem real. You really do have a lot of compassion, you know. It's touching to find that Severus reached a place of regret and made some attempt to atone. Good story; well done.

Author's Response: Thank you. I couldn't help but to make him have some regrets. :) Glad you read.

Oh, my dear. No wonder you're writing this. I was luckier, my 'funny' uncle never got the chance to touch me - because my father knew his younger brother so very well that he and my mother were quite insistent on never leaving him truly alone with us girls. But the man did 'come on' to me when I was a teenager, and had the nerve to proposition my older sister once, in plain language, when our parents were out of the room. I think the fact that my father tolerated him at all indicates that there was something in their childhood that made my father pity him, something I'm very happy not to know about.

Your aunt is - pardon me - a dunce. And you're right to protect your child, against women as well as men. The fact that I know why such monsters exist doesn't quell the urge to kill anyone who would molest a child.

This story still doesn't seem real to me, and it should, given the inspiration for it. Maybe it's just the fact that your writing style always seems to have an element of compassion, even for the dirtiest of sinners.

Author's Response: And it's not only girls that are safe. One of my friends told me that when he was younger, some neighbor used to make him watch as he... you know... himself. Eventually it led to the neighbor watching him do it. I was like WTF? Where were your parents? He shrugged and said that he thought they knew but just kept quiet about it b/c the man's family owned the land or something. He was quite nonchalant about it. Sigh.

Oh, I would definitely maim anyone that hurt my son in any way. LOL... Psycho!Southern here. Teehee...

I do tend to have a great deal of compassion. Thank you for reading and commenting.

Odd. Still not squicked. This still feels like a mutual fantasy between them. Even though it's a nasty situation, were it real, it doesn't feel real to me. I must be in denial...

Author's Response: LOL... He's quite lusty.

Hmm. I'm wondering what the hell is wrong with me that I'm not squicked by this. Perhaps it's the fact that it all seems so surreal, like a schoolgirl's sexual fantasy about her dark, forbidding and (leave us be honest, here) attractive teacher. Anyway, I'm reading and I'm hooked. I'll just have to see if this gets more of an 'eww' factor in future chapters.

Author's Response: In a way, I completely understand your feelings. On some days, I could read something noncon and think... "Hmmm... more please," but on others, I'm just outraged. I think, though, that it depends on its portrayal by the author. I hope that makes sense. LOL
