| It's a little strange to say this but it's a fantastic story. You've captured Hermione's fear and shame beautifully and the writing- as always- is exceptional! I can't wait to read Snape's POV. Although, I do find it a little hard to believe that the Hermione we know wouldn't have hexed the hell out of him the moment she realezed what was happening. At any rate, I can't wait to read more, keep yp the good work! Author's Response: I think under different circumstances, she would definitely hex his arse. | It's really dark this story. I would really like to know where Hermione is when this is happening and WHY she continues to allow for this violation to happen. She could hex him, she could scream and he would leave but she remains quiet. Obviously she fears something worse than his nightly visits. I just can't see her laying there without a fight. I imagine if she screamed and he tried to shut her up and rape her anyway it would not be much different than now so why the silence? Very well written story and I hope Hermione's suffering ends soon. Author's Response: There is definitely something that she fears even more than his violation, and it only cements her decision to remain silent. | A very bold story, one I'm sure which was not easy to write, but completely plausible from Hermione's POV. I'ts also written very well, and I felt both the anguish and longing that she expresses. How about a chapter writtten from Snape's POV, where he admits he knows what he's doing is wrong, but he thinks Hermione really wants him to but is too ashamed to admit it to herself, so he takes all the responsibility for the actions she can't bring herself to do? Author's Response: It wasn't very easy to write, but now that I have written it, I feel much better. Aside from a couple of outlandish comments, I feel that people truly understand what I'm trying to convey through her emotions and thoughts. I do have plans for a Snape POV. It should be up in a day or two. Thank you very much. | |||

| Morbid indeed! I must say, it doesn't seem very likely. Doesn't she sleep in a dorm? Isn't she a witch? Isn't she an intelligent and aware young woman? An adult, you say? I could see a younger girl being afraid to "tell," but it seems very unlikely that a seventeen year old Hermione wouldn't. Also, I must say, I'm not terribly interested in his point of view--he's presumably deluding himself--which also seems a bit out of character. I usually really like your stuff, but this seems a bit contrived..... Author's Response: This is post HBP, she's an adult, so no, she doesn't sleep in a dorm any longer. Yes, she's a witch, though she cannot do any powerful wandless magic. Are you saying that intelligent women cannot fall victim to a sexual predator? I find that interesting. Sometimes a woman has her own reasons for not saying anything, no matter her age. I'll not ask you to read his POV, but if you seek the answers to your questions, that's where they will be. Deluding himself? Not even close. He knows exactly what he's doing. Each situation is different, of course, I suppose you have to experience something to truly understand. I apologize because I thought I conveyed her shame and embarrassment quite well in this chapter. After I post the next chapter, and since you won't be reading it, I could email you personally and explain her reasoning if you'd like. I'd just hate to put spoilers here for those who actually are interested. As for you thinking it feels contrived, there's nothing I can really say to that. The next chapter is likely not what anyone is expecting. | |||

| What! Not certain if you should go on!!! I was looking for the next chapter button for a full 5 seconds before I was dissapointed to see there wasn't one. Very interesting chapter. At last, something fresh. It is indeed very perverted of Severus, but then he was never a very nice man. I love it that Hermione's not completely enamoured of him and is actually disgusted by his advances. Can't wait to read more! Author's Response: She's quite disgusted. He's terribly naughty.
