| Congratulations. You've done a fabulous job of instilling the story, which is especially evident in this particular chapter, with the understanding that it doesn't really matter if she ever recovers her memory of those seven years she's lost. Because, after all, they still have each other, and she's fallen in love with him all over again. It would be nice for them to solve the mystery of 'who' so that they can go forward without having to constantly look over their shoulders, but they're building new memories to replace those that have been lost. It seems as if there is a new appreciation for one another that might not quite have existed before. The other thing I want to say is that I dearly love a good turn of phrase, and this one: He repeated her name in whispered fragments is absolutely breathtaking. Author's Response: You're exactly right, though they will discover who did this to her, it has been becoming less about her remembering and more about her loving him. | Loved the cat and mouse game in the bookstore...and damn that woman for interrupting them! It was nice to see Hermione coming around...and Percy is a weenie! Snape and Hermione need to sic Molly on her son...she's way more scary than Snape! Anyway, great update. Author's Response: She is scary. But she's also his mother.
