UglyBabyGoat 2005.09.18 - 08:22PM 18: Eighteen--Come Together Signed This is the best chapter so far. I enjoy the way you mix the amazing (The unicorn) with the mundane (Trying to get clean in freezing cold water). Not every story, or even every chapter, needs to be a huge all-out action-adventure tale. The pacing and character development in this story is dead on. I love the little asides that give so much away about the characters (ie Snape's cosmetic charm gone wrong). At the end of every chapter I find myself musing where you will take it next . Author's Response: Hee, I thought people might like that. While I'm a big fan of my boy's fuzzy chest, I don't think Snape fits the profile, but he should have a reason for being smooth. A reason that doesn't involve shaving or waxing... I hate washing in cold water (and I've done so in a glacier-fed lake), so it was nearly painful to write that scene. It's a painful experience.
