| quite an interesting start here. Author's Response: Hi chrissy, Thank you for the review. Though the story hasn’t been updated for awhile, it is finished on paper at least. I have to get it on the computer and to my beta, who does two reads on it. And, I intend to finish it before posting any more chapters. The biggest reason being there are things that build on each other from chapter to chapter, and if I leave something out that I need later on, I can’t go back and add it. Storyline will be AU, and after HBP I’m hesitant to do Dumbledore in. He’s a great character, and the only father-like figure Severus has known. Poor Severus, his misery has just started. Taking 50 points from Hermione was his undoing. Too much talking – maybe, my attempt to show Lily as the stronger of the two. And to show cause for her devotion to him (yes, I know, she married James, but it happened suddenly and quickly – hmmm). Will Severus never learn, after Lily he commits himself to You-Know-Who, then to Dumbledore, then in HBP the Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa – will he ever be free to be his own person? He will only be free once Voldemort is no longer a threat and Lily has released him. The Dumbledore-Narcissa thing – I can’t decide which way to go. This is the reason that the thought of Hermione trying to control him is driving him to distraction. I hope it was enjoyable. joannie | |||
